Can we get a thread dedicated to posting and locating/archiving all of the artwork by Ellienoodlesoup? I think there art is fantastic and I wish I had heard about them before they deleted everything.
So here is what I know. They were a diaper artist at some point, but an unknown (to me) time ago, they decided to delete everything they had and drop off the radar. Some of their stuff remains on diaperedanime, but from what I understand there is much more that is not.
tldr: everything we know about and all the art by Ellienoodlesoup goes in this thread.

Apparently, she went by the name "Ellienoodlesoup" on deviant art, but also several other names at different times and places. There is still some of her stuff up on diaperedanime under the name "baby elliot" and one of her usernames contained "ronin" as part of it. Also turns out she did a bit of fur stuff as well.

did you get these by doing a reverse image search on the tumbnails from >>44948 ? I went and downloaded as many as I could, and could post those if people want. Maybe that might help find others? What I know is that the >>44948 is not a complete list of her work, as I have seen ones she has done that are not on there. There were also some there that were content blocked, so that prevented seeing the thumbnails.

Same guy that did these. Im trying to color in >>45040
this one, so far I have the base colors roughly drawn in. I really dont know what Im doing, this is my first time doing anything thats not flat colors, but I think I have an idea as to how to do it. Basically I plan on drawing in different shades of the color that I have isolated from the reference and then use the blur tool to blend them in with the base color, varying the amount blended in so that it ranges from slight adjustment to total color replacement as well as just smoothing transitions.
Another thing I didn't anticipate was that because this one is not colored in yet, I cant tell for sure what is a sketch line and what is a shading line in some cases. So far I have erred on the side of caution and and kept any lines if I dont know what they are for, then once I start shading if they dont make any sense then I will go back and remove them.
Im using >>44794 (OP) as a reference for the kid.
What do you guys think so far?

It looks terrible. Here's a quick tutorial of how to do it properly:
Set up your layers as follows:
>coloring layer. 100% opacity, mode=multiply
>base sketch, 100% opacity, mode=normal
Then just paint on the coloring layer using a normal brush. Make sure you fill the entire area and don't leave any gaps. The base sketch will show through because of the multiply mode.
These sketches are much more blurry and "sketchy" than most, so it will look better if you apply a (Gaussian) blur to your coloring layer after you're finished. Alternatively, if you have a tablet, you could (carefully!) paint over the lines with a sharper brush on another (normal) layer.
This is a very rough example where I used the selection tool to define the area to fill with color, then used a Gaussian blur of radius 20px to make it match the feel of the sketch lines.
▶ No.45371>>45373 >>45382

The tablet I have is built into the screen, thinkpad x61. I can defiantly re paint over the lines to make it sharper. I think the hard part would be figuring out what is and is not actually supposed to be there, if that makes any sense.
What is a gaussian blur as compared to a normal blur? I have sai, so how would I do that in that program?
Thanks for the advice!
▶ No.45373>>45382
>>45371
Gaussian is just the shape of the blurring kernel, as oppose to, say, a radial blur, a linear blur, or using a brush to blur the image. Any standard blurring function should work, so just ignore the technical terminology.
I haven't used SAI, but I'm sure it has a "blur entire layer" function of some kind.

How does this look? The head on the right side might be a bit off, I was having some trouble with it. Also the tapes and the details on the diaper were practically nonexistent, so I went ahead and tried to add the tapes and stuff in. How does this look?
▶ No.45384>>45440

That looks good. You might want to vary the line thickness/color a bit, since the lines on the outside should stand out more than the lines around details. It's a lot cleaner than the original sketch though. Well done.

I need to figure out what Im going to do about the eyes at some point lol. Right now they are like the windows into an empty soul.
I got the flat color down, next Im going to try to add the shading/variance in color in. Also after looking at the original and overlaying it, I think I will try thickening the outline on the outside like you recommended. I think you are right and it will probably look better that way.
Thanks again for the tips!

For eyes the most important thing is to have sharp light reflections on them - usually just one or two little white circles in one corner of the pupils. If you don't have reflections, they'll look dry and dead.

So I added some shading and made an attempt at the eyes. I feel like the legs look good, as does the neck. The hands and face are OK, and the hair needs work, but I dont really know what to do about the hair. I also think the eyes look kind of creepy, and Im not sure at first glance where it went wrong. Im also thinking that the diaper needs something as well, some sort of subtle shading and color on the landing zone and all that.
Overall, how is this so far, and how do I make it better?
Also gentle reminder that there could be more of Ellienoodlesoup's work out there that wasn't posted on her DA, as apparently she did not like to put out the more explicit stuff on DA.

I suspect the problem with the eyes is the lighting - that's usually the problem.
Try moving the highlight closer to the pupil and making it a bit more circular. The eyeballs are approximately spherical and lit from the same side as the camera, so the center of the highlight shouldn't be more than about half way from the center of the eyeball.
▶ No.46240>>46270
>>46239
Also the eye acts as a convex mirror so any reflections on the eyeball should be much smaller than the equivalent light source would look in a flat mirror.

Do I need to add in the whites of the eyes as well?
▶ No.46271>>49586

Yes, that would no doubt help. You don't necessarily need to draw a line around it - just make sure that part is lighter than the rest of the face.

So I know its been forever but I had some time today and decided to work on this a little more. I changed the highlights on the eyes a bit, although I hadn't read
>>The eyeballs are approximately spherical and lit from the same side as the camera, so the center of the highlight shouldn't be more than about half way from the center of the eyeball.
before I did so, so I think I may try it again with that in mind, although I think it does look a lot better with the whites drawn in. I tried it without the outlines and it didn't look quite right to me, so I added in very thin ones and that seemed to help. I made sure to look at several of Ellie's other similar pictures as far as eyes were concerned to try and match how she did them.
As far as I can tell, really the only major thing besides experimenting with the eyes is to shade the diaper, and add some sort of design on the landing zone.(Im thinking either a moogle, because they are cute and featured on some of her other drawings, or some sort of dinosaur/instrument to match the shirt.) I had said earlier that the hair might need some work, but I'm not sure what if anything needs to be done with it. Is there anything that I'm missing?
I also want to make a wet version, but in pretty much every other edit I do that in I end up making it look terrible. Any tips on doing that?
As always, thoughts, comments, critiques, feedback, tips, etc. are very welcome!
