Yes but I had some serious side effects.

I tried hypnosis while high on delta 8 (legal where I am at).

I was using mind massage machine (VR hypno) and had made a hypno for myself in it using others files / photos. It was extremely effective but that ended up being terrible.

I would say I am a fairly average guy. Not exceptionally depressed or anything. But when the post nut clarity hit while high something just kinda snapped. I had a full blown existential crisis. Experienced symptoms of dpdr and was super anxious.

Apparently this is common when using THC like products. Hands down one of the worst experiences of my life…. But I will still probably do it again. That being said about a month or so later and I am still dealing with the fallout of it. So seriously consider the risks prior to jumping down that rabbit hole.

Agree with you 100%. I've been 420 since the 70s and still going strong. When a bad reaction hits me (I use legal medical 27% flower), I have fudge cake with whipped cream, bit of side fruit, and a bit of Irish Whiskey. The whiskey will get you more fucked up so be careful; an alternative would be a weaker liquor like Drambue or a French Orange liquor. But the sugar will halt that bad empty feeling and a bit of booze should calm you a bit (I'm usually wasted on booze before I even get high so maybe the booze is bad advice to normal people). The other thing I do is shut off the lights and watch a mellow concert film. Fav for this purpose is The Eagles Farewell Tour in 丂ㄚᗪ几乇ㄚ Australia (can prob still be torrented). But when the bads hit, you need to alter your blood sugar a bit, boost your nutrition, and ride the bad high out. Don't know what I smoked one night, but I swear I started having geometric hallucinations. The weed was called Head Cracker and it was properly named. Smoked way too much before it hit and was supposed to be 27% (it was prob 70%). Couldn't move for 4 hours, I think if I did hypno that night I'da mentally died.

You have to start with the ideal scenario, which I assume would be introducing your partner to hypno and he/she gets excited by it. I've done this, and here's how I would recommend approaching it:

1. Gauge how open your partner is to kink, roleplay, and new experiences in general. I usually just make a joke about it. For example, if some TV show or movie has a scene with BDSM, I might say, "I'd definitely let *you* tie me up!"

2. Express to your partner that giving him/her control excites you. This usually makes the person curious and ask about it, like "What sorts of things does that involve?" Be ready to describe some very simple activity/scene that you would enjoy. For example, "Like if from now until midnight, I must start and stop giving you head on command, as long as we're in a safe, private place."

3. Try more things until the idea is comfortable. There are plenty of easy ones, such as, "How about I can't orgasm until you give me permission?" Or, "What if I'm required to address you using an honorific of your choosing, like 'your highness?'"

4. If things go well and you have fun, introduce the topic of hypnosis. You could test the waters by watching a show or movie that mentions hypnosis, bring up an "interesting article" you just read about it, or attend an event with a live stage hypnosis show. See if your partner expresses interest.

5. Tell your partner that you've been hypnotized recreationally. This nearly always leads to curiosity and follow-up questions. Your partner will almost certainly want to know what it's like and whether it really works. Say you thought it was great and would definitely do it more!

6. Tell your partner that you would enjoy going into trace for him/her. Lower the barrier to entry by recommending you listen to a file that implants triggers your partner can use later, or if you're both down, you could try a couples file together.
