it wasn't terrible if you like the genre, for me it had too many plot holes to consider the movie good, he has a daughter he would do anything to protect when no other women on the planet exist, and probably the most valuable resource in the world, but he doesn't have a gun. Also the movie never explains why the world fell apart the way it did. Cars and gas are super rare resources now why? sleeping in a tent why?
