I remember everyone hyping it up as the greatest mindfuck in history, and a year later when I bothered to watch it it wasn't even confusing at all. I kept waiting for some crazy shit or amazing twist that never materialized, all it was was a very simple (and incredibly dumb) premise that time moves faster in a dream and that this phenomenon is infinitely scalable, capped off with

Besides the idea that your brain has infinite capability so maybe you can have a lifetime of thoughts in two seconds if you're on a deep enough dream layer, just the base assumption is retarded. Most people sleep for eight hours, so let's say you only dream for 1, when's the last time you had a dream that would take A WHOLE FUCKING HOUR to act out? If anything, time moves slower in a dream, most dreams have almost no content but can be stretched out the entire night.
Dumb movie, I rate it 0.2 big guys out of 1 (the plane scene being perfect at "a big guy").

People hyping up Inceptions were retards. It was Paprika turned into a bad 'heist' action movie, where the entire heist was a series of bad chase sequences. Movie was set in dreams, but Nolan did not take advantage of offered possibilities. Every unusual sequence was ripped off from Paprika or something else and Nolan did not add anything new because he is an unimaginative hack.
