Celebrities went nude in a public service announcement bringing attention to naked ballots on Wednesday.
The video included Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, and Mark Ruffalo, who all appeared to be topless.
"I know what you're thinking," said Ruffalo. "You're thinking, 'Ruffalo, uh, put your clothes on.'"
The celebrities warned viewers to follow the instructions on ballots. They cautioned people, in particular, to make sure that if the ballot came with an extra privacy envelope, to use it so that they didn't have a "naked" ballot.
In Pennsylvania, the state's Supreme Court recently ruled that ballots that do not use the required secrecy envelope, an extra envelope with no identifying information on it that is put into the larger return envelope, will not be counted.
Delaware Senate candidate Lauren Witzke tweeted, "Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler and Amy Schumer getting naked trying to inspire votes for the Democrats might be the best advertisement for the Republican Party in history. The D in DNC stands for Degeneracy."
"Alright who’s the Hollywood PR rep who thought this was a good idea?" tweeted video journalist Lindsay Wigo.
The PSA was organized by RepresentUS, a nonprofit group focused on corruption and voter issues.
