The state's health department confirmed 216 resident deaths from COVID-19 on Wednesday, breaking Tuesday's record of 186 and bringing the death toll to 6,333 Florida residents. The second record-breaking day comes just as the U.S. is expected to surpass 150,000 coronavirus fatalities.
The rising numbers are significant because they come after some observers downplayed record numbers of new daily coronavirus infections while the national mortality rate remained low in recent weeks. But health experts warned that the surge in cases would likely be followed by a significant increase in deaths.

That's not how viruses work. They tend to die in the cold. This was disinfo I was calling out from day one (I'm a molecular biologist).
Viral particles are evolved for a body-temperature optimal temp, so they almost always enjoy warm weather. All life prefers humidity, too, so far as I know.

This is also wrong, they go dormant in colder temperatures, hot temperatures are effective because it causes the cell to dry out while its not in a host, I can only fathom to guess that the hot weather and humid air only helps prolong it's life and not dry out via exposure outside a body
