While there’s a bit of a stereotype associated with police officers and donuts, officers are still humans and can appreciate the confectionary delights of said sweets just as much as the next person.

Yet, reports have surfaced that a Dunkin’ Donuts location in New Haven recently refused to serve a police officer that as in uniform.

Certain portions of the populace having a disdain toward police officers is nothing new to those who don the blue everyday – most know it to be one of the many caveats that come with serving their community.

However, the blatant hatred toward police has become so mainstream that now well-established businesses are seemingly refusing to treat officers with dignity.
