Protests for the death of George Floyd turned destructive in London as some chose to vandalize a statue of Winston Churchill on the 76th anniversary of D-Day.
In a video posted to Twitter Saturday morning, an unidentified British man vented his anger to two police officers over their failure to guard a bronze statue of Churchill in London's Parliament Square.
"It's disgusting," says the man. "So, why are you not guarding it now? Should I get all the football lads to guard it now, should I?" asked the man as the police officers asked him not to. "That's disgusting," he added, showing a protester standing in front of the statue. "So, as you can see, Churchill has really been hit. We've got police here, and it's been done. Pass the message on: Winston Churchill has been vandalized."

Yep can't say I'm too hung up on this. The man was a traitor but in the UK he is so revered so this will upset a lot of people. Its a win win honestly as maybe some of Churchill's wrongs can be spoken about.
