Police in northwest Miami-Dade County are investigating after a teenager was shot and killed late Friday while riding his bicycle.
The drive-by shooting happened at the Lincoln Fields Apartments, located at 2021 NW 64th St.
Witnesses told Local 10 News’ Madeleine Wright that a car pulled up and someone inside opened fire towards the apartments.
Police put up more than 20 evidence markers around the scene, many corresponding with bullet shell casings.
According to police, the victim was riding his bike with some friends when the vehicle pulled up and shots were fired.
Authorities have identified the teen as 16-year-old Master Nalton Johnson Jr.
