I do, however, find it increasingly creepy how marketers are warming up to furries and vice versa. Communities having gate keeping can be a good thing, it keeps things cohesive and with a narrow purpose. "Normies" have a tendency to water things down and ruin the few "capitalists" that gave us what we want. Instead of getting star wars games like KOTOR, we get garbage like the battlefront remakes. At least when the community was smaller thew few content creators were likely to also be fellow fans and put some heart into it, but as a fandom grows it becomes more algorithm-ized for maximum profitability: it alienates the original fans and puts a bitter taste in their mouths. I think the biggest recent example is meme culture, it went from some silly running jokes on the internet, to faggots on reddit trying to invent memes and sticking watermarks on them, to corporations trying to get kids to buy shit with outdated ragefaces.

if the term was diluted to the point liking mickey mouse was generally agreed to be furry, so basically all of humanity was included because hey you talk to your dog that's anthropomorphising him, the average quality of the fandom would be greatly improved. conversely, if you had so much gatekeeping so people had to create their own stuff to be members, the average quality would be improved. As it stands, with the gate half open, you have the ideal situation for the market to encroach. You need certain things to pass gatekeeping - a fursona, some art, etc - and you can buy these things alongside other merchandise to show you're part of the in group - but there's no real quality control. All you need is cash on entry.

If corporations moved in it could honestly be a good thing for furry. If prices fell thanks to mass production, especially on fursuits, everyone could take a bash at customising them without fearing losing a $3000 investment. That would mean more creativity and less power to a small clique of expensive artisan creators. Sadly I don't think that's likely. More likely we'll either see building powerbases of noteworthy individuals, or corporations coming in and allying themselves with groups of the current elite in the fandom.

I'm tired of being a broke-ass SFW artist that can't get barely any commisions. I want to start doing NSFW.

I spend hours upon hours of my week studying a lot of art fundamentals and giving free art to my followers on Twitter to get more followers, but everytime i announce commisions for a very fair price, i get almost no interest.

I'm a digital artist for 4 years, now. I'm not the most talented person in the world, but i know enough about anatomy, rendering, color and composition to be considered a pretty average artist. I'm actually in college, so some money for my work would really come in handy right now.

I want some advice from the people that work with this type of art, how can i have success? What are the steps i should follow? I'm interested in making gay yiff art.

So hey, if you've ever had issues with archive websites or onion sites, and you use Cloudflare's DNS, aka 1.1.1.1, switch to another DNS. They either block it or it just isn't updated enough to consistently work.

This obviously isn't furry related specifically but I see people constantly ask why an archive or onion isn't working in several different threads and hunting all those threads down would be annoying.

If you have no idea what I'm on about, simply ignore this and move on.

Paypal is actually really weird in that it's like the only 3rd party payment app that will act as in intermediary in disputes. So long as it's a Visa or Master card you should be able to do a charge back at this point. Just be sure to request a dispute investigation and not a fraud investigation.

As an added bonus Paypal completely freezes the account and may even shut it down depended on how it's ruled.

You will probably have to show the fraud investigators your chat logs asking for gay furry art though, it helps your case.
